The letters and diaries of Carl Jung's first patient, Sabina Spielrein, are dramatized in this unique docudrama. Impaired by a condition known at the time as hysteria, Spielrein meets with Jung (and later Sigmund Freud), and the study of her illness helps give rise to psychoanalysis. How patient-doctor relationships were transgressed and her own voice muffled by the fame of Jung and Freud are revealed through her affecting and memorable correspondences. Featuring the voices of Lasse Almebäck and Eva Österberg. 90 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: German; Subtitles: English. In German with English subtitles.
