One of the longest-running comedies in U.S. TV history, this feel-good family sitcom ran from 1960-72. Fred MacMurray starred as Steve Douglas, an aircraft engineer and widower who raised a trio of boys--college student Mike (Tim Considine), high schooler Robbie (Don Grady) and young Chip (Stanley Livingston)--with the help of father-in-law Bub O'Casey (William Frawley). After a couple of cast departures, later seasons featured Barry Livingston as adopted son Ernie and William Demarest as Uncle Charley.
