For this Australian small-screen spin-off, Aaron Pedersen reprised his film role from "Mystery Road" and "Goldstone" as Aboriginal investigator Jay Swan. Sent to the Outback to look into the disappearance of two young farmhands--an indigenous local star athlete and a white transient--Swan’s partnering with local police sergeant Emma James (Judy Davis) leads them to a pernicious drug operation in the quiet town.
