Watching cheesy movies was never more enjoyable than in this cult fave 1988-1999 TV series. Shot into space by mad scientists, futuristic janitor Joel Robinson (Joel Hodgson) (later replaced by Mike Nelson) and his robot friends Crow, Gypsy, and Tom Servo view--and offer a comedic running commentary on--the greatest cinematic turkeys ever made. With Trace Beaulieu, Kevin Murphy, Jim Mallon, Frank Conniff, Mary Jo Pehl.
Squeaky-voiced Southern California waitress Kathy Ireland's search for her missing archeologist father leads her down to the subterranean kingdom of Atlantis--and Mike and the bots down into the bad cinema abyss--in "Alien from L.A." (1988). Four-disc set also includes "The Mole People," "The Magic Sword," and "Danger!! Death Ray." 6 hrs. total. Standard; Soundtrack: English.
