Galled by a historical revisionist group's contentions that the Holocaust never occurred, Auschwitz survivor Mel Mermelstein (Leonard Nimoy) accepts their standing $50,000 offer for proof. After they welch, he sues them in open court for breach of contract, risking his job and family, to keep his pledge to his dying father to be a "witness to the world." Powerful, fact-based drama co-stars Blythe Danner, Dabney Coleman. 94 min. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono.
