Artist Jim Vanning's (Aldo Ray) encounter with a pair of bank robbers (Brian Keith, Rudy Bond) leaves him wanted for a murder he didn't commit and on the wrong side of the crooks, who mistakenly think he knows where their stolen $350,000 is.
