Barbara Steele plays a dual role in this atmospheric European horror outing about a doctor (Paul Muller) who tortures and kills his unfaithful wife (Steele) and her lover (Rik Battaglia) as part of his experiments in regenerating human blood. Looking to further profit from his act of bloody vengeance, the doctor then marries her half-sister (Steele again, now with blonde hair) who is due to inherit her considerable wealth.
