Playing a fictionalized version of himself (and getting re-arrested in real life for it), defiant filmmaker Jafar Panahi headed for a border town to film his next effort--or rather, to video chat his instructions to an assistant in Turkey. He'd find himself embroiled in the real imbroglios of his cast, and harassed by local authorities in the mistaken belief he took compromising photos of a young village woman.
