It's time for five more two-reelers that waste no time at all making you laugh! Noted silent-era comic Bobby Vernon leads the cast of "A Home Spun Hero" (1920), which stars Helen Darling and George Ford; the rare "Roars and Uproars" (1922) deals with the troublesome will of a kooky inventor; the Mirthquake Players get into "Raisin Trouble" (1926), a merry outing starring Jack Cooper and Lillian Worth; "This Is the Life" (1926), thinks the suddenly bald man (Jimmie Adams) who's mistaken for a famous Frenchman, in a comedy first released as "Beauty-à-la-Mud"; and, from the "Our Gang"-like "Hey Fellas!" series, a group of pint-sized firemen answers the "13th Alarm" (1930). 90 min. total. Standard; Soundtrack: music score. Silent with music score.
