Jack Kerouac's seminal Beat Generation novel─and his late-'40s cross-country auto odysseys with fellow author Neal Cassady that inspired the roman à clef work─are brought to life in this engrossing, multi-layered drama from director Walter Salles ("The Motorcycle Diaries").
