A 65-year-old divorcée spends her time reporting crimes in her Rio de Janeiro neighborhood to the police, but no one will listen when she claims to have witnessed a man murder his wife in the apartment building across the street. Events take an even stranger turn when the man, a retired judge, asks her out and a romance develops.
