When futuristic soldier from another world named Kainan (Jim Caviezel) crash-lands his spacecraft in Norway, he discovers that he has traveled back in time to the Viking era. Kainan also learns that his mortal enemy, a grotesque alien predator, has followed him there. Now the warrior must then form an uneasy alliance with the primitive Vikings to defeat the monster bent on destroying the Earth.
