The Possessed

A depressed novelist (Peter Baldwin) made a return journey to a lakeside resort town, hoping to look up the gorgeous hotel maid (Virna Lisi) he’d enjoyed a fling with the summer before. He arrived to be informed by skittish locals that she’d died under mysterious circumstances...and his decision to investigate for himself takes uncanny and unholy turns.
