John Travolta stars as Jack Stanton, a Clinton-esque, unknown Southern governor whose White House run could be detoured by ethical questions and sexual scandals, in director Mike Nichols and scripter Elaine May's bitingly funny satire, based on the "anonymous" roman à clef novel.
