Set in 16th-century Italy, this historical adventure based on Samuel Shellabarger’s ("Captain from Castile") novel, stars Tyrone Power as Andrea Orsini, an ambassador to the despotic Cesare Borgia (Orson Welles), who grows weary of serving as a political pawn to the powerful family and betrays them.
