With her pregnancy almost to term, Esther (Alexia Rasmussen) is subjected to a heinously brutal street assault and miscarries. Seeking to recover, she joins a support group for grieving parents, and swiftly bonds with Melanie (Alexa Havins), whose family was claimed by a drunk driver.
