Quincy, a canny medical examiner who used scientific evidence to solve some of L.A.'s most puzzling murders, often locking horns with his superiors and local police in the process. The groundbreaking 1976-1983 NBC series also starred John S. Ragin, Garry Walberg, Robert Ito, Joseph Roman, Val Bisoglio.
