An implausible and yet sublimely compelling romantic drama, from James Hilton’s novel, stars Ronald Colman as "Smithy," an amnesiac British officer soldier in World War I who leaves the hospital and begins a new life with music hall dancer Paula Ridgeway (Greer Garson).
