Rock the Kasbah

Loosely based on a true story, director Barry Levinson's riotous comedy follows washed-up music manager Richie Lanz (Bill Murray) as he winds up stranded in Kabul during a USO tour. Richie gets an unexpected shot at a much-needed career boost when he discovers Salima (Leem Lubany), a local girl with an amazing singing voice, whom he takes under his wing in an attempt to get her on Afghanistan's version of "American Idol."
