Based on the autobiography of author Louise Randall Pierson, who also scripted, this lively comedy/drama stars Rosalind Russell as a career-minded woman in the 1920s whose strong will causes friction with her husband (Donald Woods). Following their divorce, Pierson remarries an eccentric entrepreneur (Jack Carson), her determination seeing them and their family through a series of crises.
