When an enemy (John Ireland) with a blood vendetta breaks jail, all wrangler Clay Phillips (Robert Sterling) wants to do is wrap up his current horse drive--and get his kid brother (Claude Jarman, Jr.) out of harm's way before trouble erupts. Unfortunately, his choice to stop and help out a wagonful of stranded saloon girls might imperil them all.
