While the £10,000-a-month salary and a chance to work with his friend drew Frankie to the troubled city, nothing could prepare him for the violence he would witness on daily basis. Each day the members of the security team would risk their lives, and in September 2007 Frankie would pay the ultimate price when he was killed on Route Irish, the world's most dangerous road.
