First, in "Sunset on the Desert," Roy Rogers plays a cowboy who returns to his hometown after many years away─only to find it in the clutches of a greedy land baron whose chief henchman looks just like Roy. With George "Gabby" Hayes, Lynne Carver. Then, in "Nevada City," Rogers and Hayes work for a stagecoach company involved in a bitter feud with a new railroad enterprise in the region.
