Having been irradiated at the age of four when the Chernobyl reactor melted down in 1986, it was unsurprising that eccentric Ukrainian artist Fedor Alexandrovich developed a lifelong fascination with the disaster. However, once he surmised that the "Duga"--a nearby-situated military defense facility--was a multi-billion-dollar boondoggle, and that the meltdown was deliberately engineered pursuant to a cover-up, his bid to prove his theories leads to unsettling pushback, as chronicled in this fascinating effort. 81 min.
