Salt of the Earth

When the Chicano laborers at a New Mexico zinc mine vote to go out on strike, their action meets with violent pushback from their bosses and local authorities. After the laborers are enjoined from picketing, their cause is taken up by their wives, who willingly face the peril of the strikebreakers.
