All in the Family creator Norman Lear transplanted the British comedy "Steptoe and Son" to Los Angeles for this fondly-remembered 1972-77 NBC series. Redd Foxx was irascible junk dealer Fred Sanford, forever devising schemes to keep son Lamont (Demond Wilson) from leaving their "thriving" family business. Whitman Mayo, LaWanda Page also star.
24 episodes on 3 discs. 10 hrs. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital stereo.
