New series of unreleased iconic jazz concerts from the archives of Belgium public TV - newly captured from original film material. Sarah Vaughan and her Trio playing at the Marni Theatre (Théâtre Marni), Brussels in 1974. With Carl Schroeder (piano), John Gianelli (bass), Jimmy Cobb (drums). Named "Sassy" and "The Divine One" she won four Grammy Awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award, she was famous for her rich voice, with an unusually wide range, and for the inventiveness and virtuosity of her improvisations. John S. Wilson, in a New York Times review of a Vaughan performance credited the singer with "What may well be the finest voice ever applied to jazz". This unreleased performance is featuring all time classics such as "'Round Midnight", "I'll Remember April" and "I Cried for You" 01 Sarah Vaughan and her Trio -Live in Brussels 1974
