Each season of this gripping mystery series finds Swedish police detective Saga Norén (Sofia Helin) working with a Danish counterpart in order to solve a crime that involves jurisdictions on both sides of the Øresund Bridge, which connects Malmö and Copenhagen. Debuting in 2011, this Swedish/Danish production’s first two seasons co-starred Kim Bodnia as Danish cop Martin Rohde, with Thure Lindhardt replacing him as Henrik Sabroe beginning in season three. Norén and Rohde team up for another perplexing mystery in the series’s second season. This time, a boat slamming into the Øresund Bridge leads them to an eco-terrorist planning to spread a deadly virus, and Rohde must deal with a tragic personal loss and its devastating aftermath.
