Motor pool master sergeant Ernie Bilko (Steve Martin) was never at a loss for a scheme to turn the resources of his backwater Army base into fast cash, and always under the nose of ever-oblivious Col. Hall (Dan Aykroyd). The party might finally be over, though, as the Inspector General's office pays a visit--and the investigator in charge (Phil Hartman) is an old rival out to shut Bilko down for keeps.
