Shinobi No Mono 4: Siege (1964)

In this dynamic sequel, the ruler of Japan (Ganjiro Nakamura) becomes determined to destroy the Toyotomi clan of ninjas. With their stand in defense of the fallen Toyotomi clan having failed, Saizo Kirigakure (Raizo Ichikawa) and Sanada Yukimura (Tomisaburo Wakayama) chose to retreat and regroup with the Shimazu clan. As Saizo planned insurrection, however, he found love with the prostitute Akemi (Yukiko Fuji)--and also found himself targeted for elimination by ninja master Hattori Hanzo (Saburo Date). With the final defeat of the Toyotomi loyalists--and Saizo Kirigakure (Raizo Ichikawa) having finally fallen in a failed assassination of General Matsudaira (Isao Yamagata)--it seemed that the Tokugawa rule would never be challenged again.
