In the Texas desert of 1836, a gunslinging mercenary (Christopher Walken), an indentured servant (Margot Kidder), and a calculating buffalo hunter (Geoffrey Lewis) tag along as an aging sea captain (Bo Brundin) promises to cut them in if they help him uncover a fabled treasure.
