Literary success, a steady workload, and a marijuana habit do little to quell the demons raging inside celebrity psychiatrist Dr. Henry Carter (Kevin Spacey), whose grief over his wife's suicide pushes him to accept counseling a young woman (Keke Palmer) suffering a similar loss.
