When the owner (Flip Wilson) of a struggling Santa Monica roller disco hosts a high-stakes dance-off, the ambitions of a clean-cut kid (Greg Bradford) and his guy-hungry sister (Maureen McCormick) to wheel off with the prize are challenged by a leather-clad bad boy rival (Patrick Swayze, in his film debut).
