It's mobsters vs. hippies in director Otto Preminger's psychedelic cult comedy. Ex-gangster Tony Banks (Jackie Gleason), sent behind bars at Alcatraz to bump off a stoolie (Mickey Rooney), takes an accidental LSD trip and hatches a wild escape plan. While Tony's away, his wife (Carol Channing) allows their daughter's "flower power" pals to move into the family mansion.
