Smokescreen (2010)

A South Carolina TV newswoman (Jaime Pressly) wakes up with no memory of what happened the night before...and the body of a police detective beside her. Now a murder suspect, she teams with a former fireman (Currie Graham) who similarly was found next to a dead woman five years earlier and whose story she reported on to learn the truth. The conspiracy linking the two incidents, however, puts both of their lives in jeopardy in this suspenseful tale based on Sandra Brown's novel. 87 min.
