Based on an epic Australian poem, this family adventure saga ran on American TV from 1993 to 1996. The series tells of widowed rancher Matt McGregor trying to raise his two sons and two daughters in the rugged Snowy Mountains in the late 1800s. The ensemble cast included Andrew Clarke, Brett Climo, Wendy Hughes, Cheryl Munks, and--in early turns--Guy Pearce and Hugh Jackman.
