When his merchant father is waylaid by bandits en route to Bombay, young Karim (Ramon Novarro) is entrusted with a priceless diamond...and its delivery is aided through the kindness of a British tourist (Conrad Nagel). Ten years later, the now-wealthy Karim is caught up in mutual attraction with a beautiful Englishwoman (Madge Evans)...and her disapproving brother turns out to be Karim's one-time savior. Lush pre-Code costumer co-stars C. Aubrey Smith, Marjorie Rambeau. 73 min. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono.
