When mob-owned funeral parlor Ragucci's starts losing business, hearse driver Frank Tramontana (Danny Aiello) and his two coworkers devise a plan to keep the company afloat. By arranging a series of tragic "accidents," they succeed in bringing in customers and cleaning up their Boston neighborhood. But when Frank becomes dangerously distracted by his girlfriend and ex-wife and a local gossip writer starts taking notes on Ragucci's, their hilarious tactics are looking pretty risky.
