John Ford’s first feature directing credit came with this silent western starring Harry Carey as Cheyenne Harry, a hired gun paid by a corrupt rancher (Duke Lee) to help run off a farm family, but who has a change of heart when he comes to know the clan’s lovely daughter (Molly Malone). When the black hats’ campaign of intimidation turns deadly, Harry takes his firearms over to the side of justice. George Berrell, Hoot Gibson also star. 62 min.
