Ann Dvorak is the title character, a hotel worker whose affair with a playboy leaves her pregnant. After he abandons her, Dvorak finds company with a criminal, a bellhop, and a newspaper reporter, all of whom lead her into various types of trouble. Lee Tracy, Leslie Fenton, and Richard Cromwell also star in this steamy (for its time) social drama; directed by Michael Curtiz. 73 min. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono.
