This idiosyncratic coming-of-age film centers on 15-year-old Oliver Tate (Craig Roberts), a serious-minded but awkward British lad who sets his sights on losing his virginity and rescuing his parents' faltering marriage. While he starts up an odd friendship with the puckish Jordana (Yasmin Paige), his mother (Sally Hawkins) directs her attentions to an old flame.
