Former British Olympic ice-skating sensation Belita shines in this noirish thriller as Roberta Elva, an ice show star who attracts the attention of the theater's new hire, Joe Morgan (Barry Sullivan). Morgan strong-arms the skating emporium's owner, Frank Leonard (Albert Dekker), into sharing the profits with him, and also decides that he’d like possession of Roberta, who happens to be Leonard’s wife.
