In this screwball comedy, Rosalind Russell shines as Marsha Meredith, an attorney-at-law who is nominated for a federal judgeship. Standing between her and her new position is a government watchdog group that doesn’t feel Marsha’s fit for public service because she is divorced. As she deals with the organization’s interference, she also tries to win back her ex, lawyer Peter Webb (Robert Cummings), with hilarious results. Marie McDonald, Gig Young also star. 86 min. Standard; Soundtrack: English Dolby Digital mono.
