Texas Rising

Set immediately following the historic massacre at the Alamo, this History channel miniseries depicts the events of the 1835-1836 Texas Revolution. Placed in charge of the recently formed Texas Rangers, Sam Houston (Bill Paxton) gathers together a ragtag army of patriots to assert their claim to the Lone Star State and destroy their Mexican enemies.
