Police investigator Megan Paige (Eliza Dushku), along with colleague and fiancé Kenneth Shine (Cary Elwes), investigates the murder of a young girl in Rochester, New York. Emerging clues about the child’s death so disturb Paige that she suffers a mental breakdown and is pulled off the case.
