As Europe is struck by a bizarre phenomenon that mutates the afflicted into human-animal hybrids, chef François (Romain Duris) saw his beloved wife succumb--and, with resentful teen son Emile (Pual Kircher), moved to the boonies to be near the facility she was sent.
