The Beaver

Just smile and watch this original drama from director Jodie Foster (who also co-stars). Mel Gibson is a severely depressed man whose behavior has estranged him from his family and almost bankrupted his business. He finds a beaver hand puppet and begins to use it to create a psychological distance so he can properly communicate. His family and colleagues are initially hard on the beaver, but it may just prove effective. Anton Yelchin, Jennifer Lawrence also star. 91 min.
