The Deadly Affair

A British Foreign Office worker accused of being a communist spy apparently takes his own life. Government agent Charles Dobbs (James Mason), however, is convinced the man was murdered, and continues his investigation in spite of his superiors’ disapproval and the toll it takes on his home life.
