The Eagle

Epic sword-and-sandal saga adapted from the 1954 historical novel "The Eagle of the Ninth" stars Channing Tatum as 2nd-century Roman centurion Marcus Aquila, whose father was blamed for the mysterious disappearance of the Ninth Legion in Britain. Desperate for answers, Aquila forms an uneasy alliance with a slave (Jamie Bell) for a bloody undercover mission to redeem his family's honor and restore the legion's lost emblem, the eagle, to its rightful place.
