The Game

Successful investment banker Nicholas Van Orton (Michael Douglas) gets an unusual 48th birthday present from younger brother Conrad (Sean Penn): membership to a mysterious service called "the Game" that promises to add whatever is missing in one's life. For control-freak Nicholas, that means a series of increasingly dangerous incidents that threaten his job, his way of life, and his very identity.
